Our collective honey is sourced sustainably, local to the Nambucca Valley on the Mid North Coast of NSW, from hives managed using our natural beekeeping principles and education practices.
Our preference is working with beekeepers that use non-migratory processes.
The current majority of collective members are previous Little Star Bee Sanctuary course participants, which demonstrates our commitment to collaboration and community for the future of the beekeeping industry.
All collective members agree to not use the following practices:
*supplementary feeding
*use of antibiotics for hive health
*use of chemical control of pests and diseases
Little Star Bee Sanctuary collective members place the bee’s needs at the forefront of their beekeeping, which enhances genetic line breeding to support natural resistance and resilience of diseases and pests – ultimately resulting in healthier hives.
Each collective member will need to provide a story about you, your farm/ place and practice of bees, with a photo for our website and marketing purposes.
